NASCAR’s Coke 600 coming to Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend. See schedule here.

North Carolina’s crown jewel NASCAR race is back.

The Coca-Cola 600, the longest race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, is coming to Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord for Memorial Day weekend — just as it has pretty much every year since the race dawned in 1960.

The headlining race will begin at 6 p.m. on Sunday and will be televised on FOX. You can also listen to the radio on PRN and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio (Channel 90).

But the racetrack will be busy before Sunday, too.

Here’s a look at all the events scheduled this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Coca-Cola 600 schedule

Friday: The ARCA Menards Series, a semi-professional league of stock car racing that often feeds talent into NASCAR, will run a race at 6 p.m. (There’s also an autograph signing opportunity from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. — a prime chance to meet Frankie Muniz, the Agent Cody Banks actor-turned-racecar driver who began his career in pro racing career at Daytona this year.) The Truck Series race will also run Friday at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: Spectator gates open at 11 a.m., and the Xfinity Series race begins at 1 p.m. Cup drivers take the track thereafter for practice (7 p.m.) and then qualifying (7:45 p.m.). A concert featuring country music star Jake Owen will take place afterward, starting at 9:30 p.m.

Sunday: The big day. Race Day Live, a beloved pre-race show that was resurrected at Bristol Motor Speedway, begins at noon. It’ll be streamed on Speedway Motorsports’ social media platforms. The event’s official pre-race concert — featuring the Doobie Brothers — begins at 3:30 p.m. Driver introductions then occur at 5:30, followed by the Coke 600 green flag at 6.
