Nashville monopoly edition revealed. What to know.

Board game nights in Nashville are about to look a little different.

The Nashville edition of the beloved Monopoly board game was revealed on Tuesday at the Parthenon. Players will no longer slide atop the classic Boardwalk and Park Place but instead historic Nashville landmarks like The Ryman, The Grand 'Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The newly released game features an image of the Nashville Skyline with customized Community Chest and Chance cards featuring music notes and Broadway's recognizable neon lights. The recognizable metal game pieces - the top hat, the thimble, the racecar, the boot, the Scottie Dog, the wheelbarrow and the battleship remain.

Present at the grand reveal was Brooke Gorman, a Top Trumps representative, the official manufacturer of the Nashville edition Monopoly.

"We aim to ensure that Monopoly: Nashville is an accurate portrayal of what locals love about their cities, so we would love for everyone to get on board and send us their recommendations," said Gorman back in January.

Gorman said that within the first week of announcing the game, Top Trumps received over 10,000 suggestions.

The Nashville Monopoly edition sold out on Top Trumps' site but copies are still available on amazon.com.
