"What's Poppin" in Music City this month? Boy bands, golden gods and rock groups hailing from Vegas and Versailles.

September, as usual, might be Nashville's biggest and busiest concert month — here are a few of the massive shows to look out for.

Sept. 6: Jack Harlow at Municipal Auditorium

One of rap's newest superstars and the pride of Louisville, Ky., the 24-year-old will bring "First Class," "What's Poppin" and more to Nashville on the second stop of his headlining tour. (more info)

Sept. 7: Twenty One Pilots at Bridgestone Arena

The Grammy-winning alt-rock duo returns to Bridgestone in support of last year's "Scaled and Icy."  (more info)

Sept. 7: Robert Plant and Alison Krauss at FirstBank Amphitheater

The unlikely duo reunited last year for their second collaborative album — 14 years after their landmark, Grammy-winning debut, "Raising Sand." (more info)

Sept. 8: Backstreet Boys at Bridgestone Arena

"Everybody" is still clamoring to see the long-running boy band, even as they close in on their 30th anniversary. (more info)

Sept. 9: Los Tigres Del Norte at Bridgestone Arena

The legendary norteño group followed in the footsteps of Johnny Cash in 2018, performing "Folsom Prison Blues" (among other songs) at its namesake Folsom State Prison. They'll come to Bridgestone on "La Reunion Tour." (more info)

Sept. 11: Zach Bryan at FirstBank Amphitheater

Breakout country singer-songwriter (and former Navy sailor) Bryan released major label debut album "American Heartbreak" earlier this year, and now plays his largest Nashville-area show to date. (more info)

Sept. 14: Americana Honors & Awards at Ryman Auditorium

Brandi Carlile, Lucinda Williams, Chris Isaak, Morgan Wade and Allison Russell are among those set to perform at the Americana Music Association's annual ceremony — possibly the most potent musical evening the Ryman sees all year. (more info)

Sept. 16: Pearl Jam at Bridgestone Arena

Back in 2020, the alternative rock greats were among the first big acts to postpone shows due to COVID-19. After a 30-month delay, they'll finally play their scheduled Bridgestone date in support of 2020's "Gigaton." (more info)

Sept. 17: The Killers at Bridgestone Arena

Propelled by the unflagging popularity of their 2005 hit "Mr. Brightside," the Las Vegas band has steadily morphed into one of the most reliably crowd-pleasing arena rock acts around. (more info)

Sept. 19: Phoenix at Ryman Auditorium

Feeling "so sentimental" about the glory days of Pitchfork-approved indie-rock? French band Phoenix returns to the Ryman to deliver doses of "Lisztomania," "1901" and their latest, "Alpha Zulu." (more info)

Sept. 20: Florence + The Machine at Ascend Amphitheater (more info)

Florence Welch, the frontwoman and namesake of this English group, will spread "Dance Fever" (the title of their latest) to Ascend Amphitheater with special guest King Princess. (more info)

Sept. 24: Alicia Keys at Ascend Amphitheater

Before the pandemic, the acclaimed singer, songwriter and pianist was set to play Nashville in support of her "Alicia" album. Since then, she's released the companion, "Keys," adding to a catalog that includes "Fallin'," "Girl On Fire" and "Empire State of Mind." (more info)

Sept. 24-25: Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival

Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jon Batiste and The Avett Brothers top a thoroughly rootsy bill for this year's Pilgrimage, which is held at the Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin, Tenn. (more info)
