National Cinema Day: Cinemark offering $3 movie tickets, snacks at all locations

Looking for something to do this weekend that won't hurt your bank account too much? Saturday is National Cinema Day, so Cinemarks are offering several $3 deals.

On Saturday, Sept. 3, people can get tickets, a medium fountain drink or ICEE, candy and a small popcorn for $3 each, taxes and fees not included. Popcorn can be upgraded to large for $1 more, according to a company release. Tickets are on sell now, and the prices are the same no matter the format.

Some theaters will re-release "Spider-Man: No Way Home", "Jaws" in IMAX and 3D, "Elvis", and "Jurassic World Dominion."

Here are the area Cinemarks participating:

Lubbock: Cinemark Tinseltown Lubbock and XD, 2535 82nd St, and Cinemark Movies 16 and XD, 5721 58th St.

Amarillo: Cinemark Hollywood 16 and XD, 9100 Canyon Drive.

Plainview: Cinemark Town Centre Cinema 6, 1001 I-27 N Highway 70,
