National Donut Day is June 2, and Columbus area businesses, local and national, are offering deals.
Whether you spell it "donuts" or "doughnuts," numerous shops will be offering freebies and discounts for the day.
Big chains like Krispy Kreme, Dunkin', Tim Hortons and even Taco Bell will offer discounts and free items, while local donut shops like The Dipped Donut and Donna's Delicious Dozen are doing generous giveaways.
From holes to half dozens and more, join the donut frenzy this National Donut Day and satisfy your sweet tooth at these Columbus businesses.

Amy's Donuts
Amy's Donuts is passing out free bags of donut holes all day Friday for National Donut Day while supplies last and with no purchase necessary.
Amy's Donuts' Columbus location is at 650 Georgesville Road in the Hilltop.
The Dipped Donut
In honor of National Donut Day, The Dipped Donut will give one lucky customer $100 dollars with a purchase.
The Dipped Donut is located at 256 S. Sandusky St. in Delaware. The shop's gluten-free bakery, Gluten-Free by The Dipped, is in the same building as its original bakery.
Donna's Delicious Dozen
Located at 5322 N. Hamilton Road in northeast Columbus, Donna's Delicious Dozen is giving away one free donut with the purchase of a half dozen or more donuts through the weekend.
The donut shop is also doing an Instagram givaway for a free dozen for a year, limited to one dozen per month. A winner will be announced on June 5, in time for the shop's 4th anniversary.
Dunkin'
Dunkin' is once again offering free donuts for National Donut Day. The coffee and donut chain is offering free donuts on Friday with the purchase of a drink, excluding espresso shots. The deal excludes fancies and specialty donuts.
Dragon Donuts
Dragon Donuts is offering a half dozen cake donuts for free with the purchase of a dozen donuts. Dragon Donuts is located at 4100 Worth Ave. in Easton Town Center.
Duck Donuts
Duck Donuts is offering a free cinnamon sugar donut in-shop, with no purchase necessary.
Duck Donuts has two Columbus area locations, at 825 Polaris Parkway in Westerville and 7717 Sawmill Road in Dublin.
Giant Eagle
This year for National Donut Day, Giant Eagle is offering a dozen donuts for $5 at its bakeries.
Krispy Kreme
On Friday, get a free doughnut of any kind – including banana pudding, chocolate Kreme pie, key lime pie and strawberries & Kreme doughnuts – no purchase necessary. Also, buy any dozen donuts and get a dozen original glazed donuts for $2.
Rose Dough Donuts
Rose Dough Donuts is offering one free vanilla cruller to its first 23 customers on Friday and Saturday online during pre-order and pick-up at 1400 Dublin Road. The donut shop will also offer a limited-time item, the cookies and cream donut.
Tim Hortons
Get a free donut on National Donut Day from Tim Hortons if you buy any sized hot or iced beverage using the Tim Hortons app or online.
Taco Bell
Get free Cinnabon delights on Friday with any Taco Bell order of $20 or more on DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates and GrubHub. Just add a Cinnabon delights two-pack to your cart.
Bonus: The Butler County Donut Trail
The Butler County Donut Trail, which encompasses 80 miles in southwestern Ohio, has collaborated with The Mullen Dairy & Creamery for a limited-release chocolate sprinkled donut milk inspired by the trail and to celebrate National Donut Day. The milk will be available at locations around Butler County starting on Friday while supplies last.
