The broadcasters for Sunday’s Chiefs-Raiders game both have ties to Kansas City.

CBS Sports has assigned Kevin Harlan, the former Chiefs radio voice, and Trent Green, who played six seasons in Kansas City, to call the game. Green also works as an analyst for Chiefs preseason games.

Melanie Collins will be the sideline reporter Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Can the Chiefs bounce back from Monday’s loss to the Eagles? Here are who 59 national experts are predicting will win Sunday’s game, which kicks off at 3:25 p.m. and airs on KCTV (Ch. 5) in Kansas City.

The Chiefs will win 30-14, says the Sporting News’ Vinnie Iyer. This is part of what he wrote: “Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have seen a clearer path to AFC regular-season supremacy with misfortune hitting a lot of other contenders. They will build on the tough spot vs. the Eagles by taking it out on the Raiders with an improved dedication in the running game to open up Mahomes throwing downfield to Travis Kelce and others.”

A Chiefs’ win is the prediction from the five USA Today writers: Lorenzo Reyes (26-18), Tyler Dragon (28-20), Safid Deen (26-13), Victoria Hernandez (24-17) and Jordan Mendoza (33-20). Here is what Reyes wrote: “Kansas City has been up-and-down on offense and it should handle a Raiders team that has been more competitive with Antonio Pierce as interim coach. The Chiefs defense has been one of the NFL’s best all season long. Take the Eagles loss with a grain of salt; that was a really good defense.”

The five writers at NFL.com picked the Chiefs to win: Ali Bhanpuri (26-18 final score), Brooke Cersosimo (26-20), Dan Parr (23-13), Gennaro Filice (26-14) and Tom Blair (24-17). This is an excerpt of what Filice wrote: “One of the biggest surprises of the 2023 season: Kansas City’s offense ISN’T extraordinary. Shoot, lately, it isn’t even ordinary. The Chiefs haven’t scored a single point after halftime in a month. That’s right: Three straight second-half shutouts. In related news, reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes has looked remarkably unremarkable in Year 7, posting the worst numbers of his starting career and failing to even reach 200 yards passing in either of the past two games. What better way to break out of a rut than a weekend in Vegas? No, seriously! In his career, Mahomes is 9-1 against the Raiders with a sparkling 112.5 passer rating.”

A 24-16 Chiefs victory is the prediction from the Associated Press’ Rob Maaddi, who wrote: “Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs (7-3) aim to bounce back after beating themselves against Philadelphia. They’ve got issues on offense, especially in the second half. The Raiders (5-6) have won both of rookie QB Aidan O’Connell’s home starts.”

All 10 writers at the Athletic picked the Chiefs: Mark Kaboly, Austin Mock, Larry Holder, Zac Jackson, Tashan Reed, Chad Graff, Josh Kendall, Zak Keefer, Zack Rosenblatt and Michael-Shawn Dugar. This is from the story: “Mahomes’ 93.8 passer rating and his 6.9 yards per pass attempt would be the lowest marks of his career as a starting quarterback. He has finished with a passer rating lower than 100 just once (98.5) in five full years and a yards per attempt of less than eight yards (7.4) just once. The lack of production at wide receiver greatly impacts the Chiefs’ offense.”

All eight writers at CBS Sports think the Chiefs will win: Pete Prisco, Jared Dubin, Ryan Wilson, Jamey Eisenberg, Will Brinson, Tyler Sullivan, John Breech and Dave Richard. Prisco sees a 27-17 final. Here’s part of what he wrote: “The Raiders have looked so much better the past three games, but this is a tough test against a wounded Super Bowl champ. The Chiefs get back on track here.”

Two of three writers at the Black and Silver Pride blog see the Chiefs prevailing: Matt Holder and Bill Williamson. Going with Vegas is Ray Aspuria.

The eight experts at ESPN predict the Chiefs will win: Mike Clay, Jeremy Fowler, Dan Graziano, Moses Moody, Matt Bowen, Lindsey Thiry, Jason Reid and Seth Wickersham.

A Chiefs victory is the prediction from the nine SB Nation writers: JP Acosta, James Dator, Debbie Emery, Jeanna Kelly, Brandon Lee Gowton, RJ Ochoa, Mark Schofield, Matt Warren and Jared Mueller.

Each of the seven experts at Sports Illustrated see the Chiefs winning: Mitch Goldich, Gilberto Manzano, Matt Verderame, Albert Breer, John Pluym, Claire Kuwana and Conor Orr.

The Chiefs will win, say Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio (20-13 final score) and Chris Simms (27-13).
