National French Fry day: Where to get deals on fries in Michigan
Wednesday is National French Fry Day, and there are plenty of deals across metro Detroit to get your fry fix.
Here’s a list of places you can get free fries in honor of the occasion:
Burger 21 locations will offer a free side of fries with any order placed using the Patty Perks App.
Burger King is offering free Chicken Fries with every $3 purchase. Customers can avail this offer on the BK app, website and at participating restaurants.
Checkers, a drive-thru chain, will be offering an order of free fried to customers who sign their petition to move National Fry Day to Friday. Customers are Reward App members will also be able to receive a free XL fry on Wednesday.
Hardee's is offering a free small natural cut fry if customers sign up for a Hardee's My Rewards account on the mobile app and order using the app.
Heinz will be deducting $5.70 from orders placed on Doordash. The order must include fries to qualify for the discount.
McDonald’s is offering large fries for $1 on orders placed from the McDonald’s app. The deal is valid for use once a week until Dec. 31.

Participating Penn Station East Coast Subs locations, known for their grilled sub sandwiches, will offer a free order of small fries with any sandwich purchase.
Red Robin locations will be offering bottomless steak fries, sweet potato fries, garlic fries, kettle chips, broccoli, or side salads with any burger or entree order.
Wendy's is offering fry day deals through Friday. On Wednesday, customers will get a free medium fry with any mobile order. Thursday has been designated Breakfast FryDay, so customers will get a free small breakfast seasoned potatoes. On Friday, you can get more fries by getting an order of medium fries for free with any size fry order made through the mobile app.
