National Teacher Appreciation Day deals
Tuesday is National Teacher Appreciation Day, but Teacher Appreciation Week kicked off Monday and runs through Friday.
To show their appreciation, some businesses are offering discounts and freebies.
The dates and participation of the deals may vary by location. Some businesses require teachers to be signed up for emails or loyalty programs or have an app. Be sure to check with the location before visiting.
Staples is offering a free teacher gift box, exclusive coupons, plus 20% back in classroom rewards through Friday. Learn more here.
Office Depot and Office Max have two teacher appreciation discounts but the savings continue after classes are over. Through June 25, teachers can get 20% off qualifying purchases and can get 20% back in Bonus Rewards on a qualifying purchase.
To get either deal, teachers must show a valid teacher ID, a coupon and rewards member number. Find coupons at this link.
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a 20% discount for teachers and school staff for dine-in and “in-store pay” pickup orders. A valid school ID is needed.
Barnes & Noble Cafes are offering a free tall cup of hot or iced coffee or tea with a valid teacher’s ID.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop has a free cookie or regular sized soft drink with the purchase of any entrée through Sunday.
