National Weather Service declares thunderstorm watch for Lawrence, surrounding counties

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of southern Indiana, including Lawrence County.

The county was placed under the watch around 3:40 p.m. Monday and the watch will continue to be in place until 10 p.m.

The highest threats from the potential weather is high winds and isolated flooding.
