  1. National Western, Denver, rethinking new 10,000-seat rodeo arena. Denver officials believe that voters were "confused" when they voted down more public funding last November for the new arena that the National Western wants. Voters disagree. (Gazette)

  2. Denver hotel seeking marijuana hospitality license. The Patterson Inn is moving forward with plans for a smoking lounge. The hotel was the first to apply under Denver's new marijuana hospitality program. (9News)

  3. Colorado highway bridges set to get repaired. Almost 500 bridges across the state are listed as being in poor condition, and CDOT is set to receive millions of dollars over the next five years for repairs and upgrades to the long-neglected bridges. (Patch)

  4. Hospital system showing cracks from the pressure of the omicron wave and staff shortages. Colorado’s hospital systems are under intense pressure after weeks of back-to-back impacts from the coronavirus, delivered by the delta and omicron variants.
