Natomas schools to offer child care, day camps

The Natomas Unified School District announced child care and day camps will be available for some high-need students and families as the district moves to distance learning for the beginning of the school year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The district, which starts school on Aug. 27, said although state guidance prohibits in-person instruction, child care centers and day camps are still allowed. The district secured two contracts with 4th R School and the Sacramento Chinese Community Service Center that will provide child care and day camps across elementary and K-8 campuses.
