Natural Gas Services: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

MIDLAND, Texas (AP) _ Natural Gas Services Group Inc. (NGS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $1.7 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Midland, Texas-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 11 cents per share.

The maker of natural gas compression equipment and industrial flare systems posted revenue of $19.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $13.9 million, or $1.06 per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $78.4 million.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $4.11. A year ago, they were trading at $17.67.
