NBA best bets you need to make Thursday: 11/7

The Celtics are the biggest favorites of the night as they travel to Charlotte as 7.5-point favorites with the total set at 215. The Celtics enter on a five-game winning streak and have won eight of the most recent ten games in the head-to-head versus the Hornets.

The Hornets are surrendering an average of 59.7 first-half points per game, the fifth-highest total in the league. The Celtics have shot the ball efficiently on the road, while the Hornets are allowing opponents to shoot 49.3 percent at Spectrum Centre. Bet Boston to get out to a quick start and take them on the first-half moneyline.

Since being traded to Boston, Kemba Walker is averaging the lowest assists in his career with 3.7 per game. Over their most recent two games the Celtics have started to shoot the ball better, averaging 48.6 percent from the floor over their most recent three games. If they want to find success offensively, it runs through Walker's play-making abilities at the point. In a revenge game for Kemba Walker versus his former team, bet Over his assists total of 5.5.

San Antonio hope to snap their two game losing streak as they host the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Thunder have shown they are capable of putting up points if necessary, but have placed more of an emphasis on the defensive end.

The Spurs have not been the same dominant team we have seen at home over the last few years. This season they are giving up an average of  111.5 ppg on their home court. Bet Over Oklahoma City's low team total of 103.5.

The Suns have been one of the most surprising teams in the NBA this year and enter today winning three straight, including a big upset victory Monday night versus the 76ers. Tonight they host the Miami Heat as 1-point favorites.

For Miami, it appears that rookie Kendrick Nunn has started to slow down with back-to-back poor shooting nights. He went just 6-of-24 from the floor during that two-game stretch.

Today he is in a difficult matchup versus a Suns team who have been particularly good at defending opposing shooting guards, holding them to 21.3 points on 39.2 percent shooting. Bet Under Nunn's points total of 15.5.

The Los Angeles Clippers will have Kawhi Leonard back in their lineup for today's game against the visiting Portland Trail Blazers

For Portland, Damian Lillard is off to the best start of his career, averaging career high numbers in field goal percentage, rebounds, assists, 3-point percentage, and points per game. He is coming off back-to-back 30-point contests and has scored no less than 23 a game on the season thus far.

We expect his success to continue versus a Clippers team surrendering an average of 25.4 points and 3.8 made 3-point shots per game to opposing point guards. Bet Over Lillard's point total of 25.5.
