The second round of the NBA playoffs continues Wednesday. Yahoo Sports’ Jared Quay has the advice that you need for two pivotal Game 5 matchups.

All odds via BetMGM.

Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers (-6.5), Total: 224.5

How is Joel Embiid feeling and how will it impact his play in Game 5? That’s the biggest question for Wednesday night after Embiid was 0-of-12 shooting in the second half of Game 4. His drought helped the Hawks erase Philly’s early lead and even the series at 2-2 on Monday night.

Philadelphia can take solace that Game 5 is at home. The Sixers have won 11 of their last 12 home games. But there’s a caveat there. That one loss came in Game 1 of the series to Atlanta. The Hawks won the first game as Embiid sat out because of his torn meniscus.

The Hawks are 2-4 against the spread in their last six games against Philly. Those two wins against the spread have been their two wins in this series. The Hawks are 45-35-1 against the spread this season and are 19-22 straight up on the road.

Yahoo Sports’ Jared Quay likes Philly to cover the six-point spread in this game and move one win away from the series win.

Prop bet we like: Philadelphia -2.5 in the first quarter (-105)

Los Angeles Clippers at Utah Jazz (-3.5), Total: 221.5

Are the Clippers in the midst of another 2-0 series comeback? The Clips have evened this series at 2-2 following Utah’s wins in Game 1 and Game 2. But Wednesday morning brought a huge twist with a report that Kawhi Leonard was expected to miss Game 5 and could be out the rest of the series after suffering a knee injury late in Game 4.

The home team has won each of the four games in the series so far. That’s a flip from L.A.’s first-round series against Dallas. The road team won the first six games of the series before the Clippers won Game 7 at home.

The Clippers don’t look like they’re going to win on the road at Utah anytime soon. L.A. is 0-7 in its last seven games at Utah. That will have to change if Los Angeles is going to win this series; two of the final three games are in Utah.

Utah, meanwhile, is 9-2 in its last 11 games at home.

“Everything on paper is telling me to bet the Jazz here, but my gut’s saying the Clippers have finally turned it around and are going to win this game and win this series,” Quay said late Tuesday night.

He made those remarks with Leonard expected to be available and the line at 2.5 points. It's since moved towards the Jazz and will likely continue to do so over the course of Wednesday.

Prop bet we like: Rudy Gobert over 12.5 points (+100)
