Video Transcript

ARIEL EPSTEIN: Welcome to Yahoo Daily Fantasy in the NBA. I'm The Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein. We have a huge slate of games tonight in the NBA, and I've got three different plays. Two are a little bit pricey. One, a great value play for tonight.

Let's start with the priciest play. For $38, I'm putting Charlotte Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball in my lineup. Here's a crazy stat. The Los Angeles Lakers, on the second leg of a back-to-back, are allowing starting point guards to average just under 27 points per game.

Ball went up against a bottom-10 defense this year in points allowed to opponents. He's averaging just over 21 points per game. LaMelo Ball is in a great spot here with the Lakers on the second leg of a back-to-back after facing Philly last night. I'm putting LaMelo Ball in my lineup.

For my second play, for $31, I'm playing the Houston Rockets center Christian Wood. Not is Wood the only player on this team that can put up a ton of points, he's up against the Portland Trail Blazers, who are bottom-10 defensively in points allowed. When up against the bottom-10 defense, Wood's averaging just under 20 points per game.

The Blazers have also been struggling against centers. Centers are averaging just under 17 points per game in the last 10 against them. And looking at some of the names, you've got the Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis with 22 points, Minnesota center Karl-Anthony Towns with 17 points, and Miami's Bam Adebayo had 20 points, all within the last 10. I'm making sure to put Christian Wood in my lineup tonight.

For my value play, I'm playing the shooting guard on the Atlanta Hawks, Bogdan Bogdanovic. This is a crazy trend that I've been tracking all year with the Boston Celtics. The Celtics have not only been bottom-10 all year against guards, they're bottom-10 against shooting guards.

Looking back at the last 10 games, before the Kings meltdown-- because I don't want to consider that Kings game. They just didn't show up. The 10 games prior to that, shooting guards in the last 10 were averaging just under 21 points per game.

In six games where Bogdanovic has faced a defense bottom-10 against guards, he's averaging just over 16 points per game. I'm making sure, for $13, with this Atlanta Hawks team playing well, that Bogdanovic is in my lineup tonight.

Here's your NBA DFS recap. For $38, I'm playing the Hornets point guard LaMelo Ball. $31, the center for the Houston Rockets, Christian Wood. And the value play, $13, Bogdan Bogdanovic on the Atlanta Hawks.

That's it for me, your Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, here at Yahoo Daily Fantasy in the NBA. Happy Friday, and good luck this weekend.
