Point Guard

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Oklahoma City Thunder (vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in a tough matchup tonight. All I’m going to say is that, if Oklahoma City can keep this game close (which is a big if), it will be on the back of Shai Gilgeous- Alexander. SGA is very much a matchup performer. In the right situation, he can gather rebounds, assists, and points quicker than any PG in the league. SGA is averaging 40 FPPG this season but has looked very solid as of late. His last five games include DK totals of 65, 41, 52, 29.76, and 48.5. His salary is very reasonable. I have him ranked much higher than Fox (who is similarly priced). SGA can to perform in a win or a loss but if they can win, we should be looking at more of a 65 fantasy point total as opposed to more of a 45 point effort in a loss. $8,600 on DK - lock him in.

Other PG Option: Darius Garland

Shooting Guard

Davion Mitchell - Sacramento Kings (vs. Milwaukee Bucks)

Tonight is an interesting daily fantasy slate in that all three games have a massive favorite. The Bucks by -8, the Cavaliers by -12, and the Suns by -12 as well. If you ask me which underdog has the best chance of winning tonight, it’s the Kings. Most of my GPP pivots tonight will be based around these Sacramento Kings. Sometimes a daily fantasy play becomes clear when another player’s matchup is poor. That’s what we have tonight in De’Aaron Fox and backup point guard Davion Mitchell. Mitchell is averaging 19.0 DK FPPG this season. His ceiling was shown two games back when he totaled 39.5 DK FP against Houston over just 28 minutes. When Fox can't perform, Mitchell can and he's never shy to shoot which is something I love in a DFS investment. Lock in Mitchell on Draftkings, Fanduel, & YahooFantasy.

Other SG Option: Lugnetz Dort

Small Forward

Isaac Okoro - Cleveland Cavaliers (vs Oklahoma City Thunder)

If you are going to invest in popular plays on a small slate, you’ll need to save salary by investing in role players who are starting on any of the three favorites tonight. Okoro should receive an extended run with Lamar Stevens at less than 100%. Okoro has a very cheap salary for a player that has seen 30 minutes in each of his last two games.

Other SF Options: Harrison Barnes

Power Forward

Richaun Holmes - Sacramento Kings (vs. Milwaukee Bucks)

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Giannis tonight. Jrue Holiday is active and ready to go. Middleton likely has the most advantageous matchups against Harrison Barnes and Tyrese Haliburton. Fox is expected to struggle against a defensively talented and physically superior Jrue Holiday. Allen is currently questionable although he is likely to play. Sacramento currently allows The third-most points per game in the league at 114.1. Sacramento is allowing opponents to shoot 46.9% from the field which ranks third highest in the league. Opponents are also shooting 35.1% from beyond the arc against the Kings. The Milwaukee Bucks are going to be an extremely popular investment tonight. Fading all Bucks in a narrative where they are blown out, Marvin Bagley and Richaun Holmes should perform well at low percentages. Holmes comes with DFS ceiling performances that you just don’t get in his salary range. Pairing Halliburton with Holmes is a solid strategy as they play very well off of one another. Don’t sleep on Sacramento tonight.

Other PF Option: Jae Crowder

Oshae Brissett - Indiana Pacers (vs. Phoenix Suns)

The Indiana Pacers are another team worth a second look tonight. Yes, they’re massive underdogs and are currently without their top six, I get it. Everything screams stay away. With that said, Indiana is coming off of an amazing victory vs. the Warriors. They can either continue their great play with their current lineup or bust big against a great Suns team. If they can compete, Goga Bitaze will likely produce. If Goga proves to be a popular play (which I don’t believe he will be), take a look at Oshae Brissett. He received 22 minutes off the bench in Indiana’s 121-117 victory over Golden State. Brissett could be a sneaky investment assuming Phoenix wins big. Mcgee and Brissett make a very interesting pairing.

Other C Option: JaVale McGee
