NBA Legend Michael Jordan Lists Scenic Utah Retreat for $7.5 Million

Michael Jordan has listed his Park City, Utah, retreat for $7.5 million, and the former Chicago Bulls star is likely hoping the scenic hillside mansion finds a buyer faster than his home in the Windy City, which remains on the market for $14.855 million after seven years and numerous price cuts. (He originally listed that pad for $29 million.)

Luckily, it could prove easier to offload the mountain home. While the Chicago place boasts highly customized details such as a giant steel number “23” (Jordan’s legendary NBA jersey number) on the front gate and a personalized basketball court, the Park City residence is more mainstream, though no less luxurious.

Built in 2006, the house spans three stories and includes a total of five bedrooms and eight bathrooms spread out over 9,574 square feet. Guests enter through a museum-like covered stone walkway leading up to a double-height glass door, and the inside is filled with high-quality finishes such as Italian marble, bamboo floors, granite countertops, Swiss pearwood, and Macassar ebony veneer.

The main living area is comprised of an atrium, a two-story living room with a barrel ceiling, and a modern kitchen with two center islands. There's also a formal dining room and a lofted office with a fireplace. Marble steps lead to the second floor, where the master suite features a sitting area as well as a private balcony with views of the Wasatch Mountains and the Glenwild Golf Club. Other rooms include a movie theater with two rows of plush leather seats, a home gym, a den, a wet bar, and even a golf simulator.

Out back, the patio revolves around an impressive infinity-edge swimming pool fed by a trio of fountains, with a massive outdoor fireplace, a built-in grill, and an outdoor kitchen. Perhaps the best feature of the Space Jam star's getaway home, however, is the plentiful unobstructed views of the mountainous Utah landscape.
