With the Golden State Warriors punching an early ticket to the offseason after a pair of losses in the Western Conference play-in tournament, Warriors Wire is checking in on former members of Golden State across the 2021 edition of the NBA postseason.

In the second round of the playoffs, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant leads a featured group of former Warriors trying to get back to the NBA Finals with new teams. Former Warrior center DeMarcus Cousins is also still in action during the 2021 playoffs with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Here is a look at how Durant performed during game seven between the No. 2 seed Brooklyn Nets and No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks.

Eastern Conference Round 2, Game 7: Bucks at Nets (3-3):

After forcing a game seven, the Milwaukee Bucks met the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center for a contest to decide a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. With former Most Valuable Players Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant battling, the Bucks and Nets combined for an instant classic on Saturday night in Brooklyn.

Led by Antetokounmpo and Durant, the pair of teams traded buckets throughout the contest, setting up a thrilling finish down the stretch.

Despite gripping to a four-point lead with a 1:05 remaining in regulation, a pair of ugly possessions by the Bucks opened the door for Durant at the buzzer.

Trailing by two, the former Golden State Warriors forward drilled a heroic jumper with a foot on the 3-point line to push the game to an overtime period.

In overtime, the Nets started out strong by scoring the opening points. However, back-to-back bucks from Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton set the Bucks with a two-point lead with 40 seconds on the clock. After playing 53 minutes, Durant missed his final two shots. With Durant unable to answer, the Bucks sealed a memorable victory in overtime, 113-111.
