Chris Paul has become the closer.
The Phoenix Suns point guard took over the fourth quarter in his team's 114-111 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night as Phoenix took a 2-1 lead in the series.
NBA Twitter sang Paul's praises after the game, gushing about his 19 fourth-quarter points and his zero turnovers (yes, zero turnovers in the game).
Take a look at what they were saying about Paul in the aftermath of Phoenix's victory.

Well, maybe Chris Paul CAN win his first ring without Devin Booker. He just did it again, taking over the 4th quarter with 19 points, scoring clutch buckets at will. He's almost as old as LeBron, who's no longer capable of closing like this.

CP3 just refused to let Suns lose. Suns needed offense tonite with Booker out. He said, I gotcha. CP3 answered every big bucket by Ingram and McCollum in the 4th with an even bigger bucket of his own. Paul was sensational #PointGod.
