The Dallas Mavericks stunned the Suns in Game 7 in Phoenix with an unreal 123-90 victory.
Luka Doncic went off for 35 points and 10 rebounds in only 30 minutes of play, while Chris Paul and Devin Booker had one of their worst nights of their playoff career.
As expected, NBA Twitter had a field day during the game.
luka wilding 😂🔥💯

Wow luka. Wow. He been playing in games on the road with fires 🔥 and flares going off in the stands. Police officers with AK’a separating the rows in the arena back in Europe. Road game with pressure isn’t really pressure to him. Killer performance 🤝

Luka is laughing at the Suns … who deserve to be laughed at.

— Toni Kroos (@ToniKroos) May 16, 2022
Luka walked off the floor in Phoenix after game 5 and said, “Everybody acting tough when they’re up.”
He’s going to make this as extravagantly painful as he can.

Chris Paul did not score a field goal in Game 7 until the Suns were trailing by 40 points. Just a stunning night.

With less than 15 minutes left in Game 7, the Suns are on pace to score 68 total points in their biggest game of the season.

Chris Paul is the first player ever to blow five 2-0 leads in a best-of-7 series.
2-0 vs Spurs in 2008
2-0 vs Grizzlies in 2013
2-0 vs Blazers in 2016
2-0 vs Bucks in 2021
2-0 vs Mavs in 2022He is also the only player to blow four 2-0 leads. pic.twitter.com/Y6yXcKVT66

In this last 5 games, it's like Chris Paul just fell off the cliff after he turned 37. Game 6 at New Orleans: he went 14-14! 41 in last year's Game 6 at Clippers! 28 in Game 2 of this series! Then … nothing. Just lost it. He thought this was his BEST CHANCE to win his 1st ring.
