NBC26 Storm Shield Forecast

Cold air is filling in this evening and it's sparking some flurries and snow showers across Northeast Wisconsin. Coverage will diminish overnight as dry air moves in. Temperatures will fall to around 20 degrees by Monday morning. Winds tonight will persist out of the north around 10-15 mph. Blustery and cold conditions will persist today with some flurries or a little light snow south. Highs will only top out in the mid-20s. We're going to have a cold and blustery night that's going to feel like the middle of winter. Lows will be in the single digits. Tuesday again will feel like the middle of winter, and it will also be the coldest day of the week with highs struggling to even make it to 20. Another weak disturbance will move in Wednesday. Some light snow probably will bring a light accumulation to many locations. Temperatures will be in the mid-20s. Thursday through Saturday look to be sunny and milder days, gradually warming into the mid- and upper-30s with 40 possible by Sunday. Baby steps.
