NC State baseball vs. Wake Forest: Live score updates from ACC Tournament
CHARLOTTE — N.C. State baseball has a long climb ahead if it plans to make a repeat trip to the College World Series.
After dropping six of its final nine regular season games, N.C. State (33-20) begins postseason play Tuesday at 3 p.m. against Wake Forest at the 2022 ACC Tournament at Truist Field.
The Wolfpack enters the tournament as the No. 10 seed and will face both No. 6 Wake Forest (39-16-1) and No. 3 Miami (39-16) in the pool-play portion of the tournament. The winner of the pool will advance to Saturday's semifinal round. If the teams are tied after pool play, the team with the highest seed in the pool will advance to the semifinals, giving Miami a sizable advantage.

This is the Wolfpack's fourth straight game against Wake Forest after the Demon Deacons swept them last week in a three-game series.
