NC State football schedules home-and-home series with Appalachian State

NC State football and Appalachian State have scheduled a home-and-home football series for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, according to FBSSchedules.com.

The two-game series will begin in Boone, with the Wolfpack traveling to Kidd Brewer Stadium on Sept. 6, 2025. The Mountaineers will head to Carter-Finley the next season on Sept. 26, 2026.

NC State owns a 6-0 series lead against the Mountaineers, including a 23-10 win in Raleigh in 2006. App State becomes the fourth and final non-conference opponent for NC State for both the 2025 and 2026 seasons. NC State’s 2025 schedule includes home games with ECU (Aug. 30) and Campbell (Oct. 4) as well as a trip to face Notre Dame.

The Wolfpack is scheduled to open the 2026 season at home against Florida on Sept. 5. NC State is also scheduled to host Richmond the following week on Sept. 12 before traveling to Vanderbilt on Sept. 19.
