NC State football transfer tracker: Who is leaving, joining Wolfpack via portal?

NC State football is looking to rebuild after losing at least 15 players to graduation. But will the Wolfpack also lose some key pieces to the transfer portal?

Here's a look at who's coming and going from NC State via transfer:

Who is transferring out from NC State football?

Devin Carter, wide receiver

A four-year starter for the Wolfpack, Devin Carter has 118 career receptions with 1,906 yards and 10 touchdowns. Despite dealing with injuries this past season, he has 25 catches for 406 yards and a pair of TDs in eight games.

Joshua Harris, defensive lineman

A four-year sophomore nose tackle, Joshua Harris had 12 tackles (three for loss) and a sack in 12 games this season.

After coming to NC State as a four-star prospect ranked No. 4 overall in North Carolina out of Roxboro Person High, Harris backed up Cory Durden.

Harris has two years of eligibility remaining.

Devin Leary, quarterback

Devin Leary began the 2022 season as the ACC Preseason Player of the Year with a Heisman Trophy campaign after becoming only the fourth quarterback in the playoff era to throw 35 touchdown passes, five or fewer interceptions and more than 3,400 yards in 2021 as the Pack went 9-3. They missed the opportunity for a 10-win season when UCLA canceled their Holiday Bowl appearance against NC State just hours before kickoff.

Leary's 35 TD passes were a school record and set him up for high expectations entering 2022, but those were derailed when he suffered a season-ending torn pectoral muscle on Oct. 8.

Leary announced via Twitter on Dec. 5 that "2022 did not go as expected" and went on to say he'd decided to enter his name into the transfer portal. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

Jasiah Provillon, wide receiver

A 6-foot-2, 205-pound redshirt junior from Irvington, New Jersey, Jasiah Provillon played as a reserve receiver and on special teams for the Wolfpack. He blocked a punt against ECU in the Wolfpack's 21-20 season-opening win in 2022.
