Arkansas basketball is trying to make its third consecutive Elite Eight appearance when its faces UConn in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 on Thursday.

The game tips off 6:15 p.m. (CBS) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The winner will play Saturday against the winner of the game between Gonzaga and UCLA for the West Regional championship and a berth in the Final Four.

The 8-seeded Razorbacks (22-13) are coming off a 72-71 upset win over 1-seed Kansas. Davonte Davis led the way with 25 points, including aa stretch of 10 straight to lead the comeback, while adding eight rebounds. Ricky Council IV scored 21 points, going 10-for-11 from the foul line and getting eight rebounds.

The 4-seeded Huskies (27-8) are coming off a 70-55 win over 5-seed Saint Mary's. Adama Sanogo led the way with 24 points and eight rebounds, continuing his strong March. Tristen Newton and Jordan Hawkins both finished in double figures. The Huskies are attempting to advance to their first Elite Eight since winning it all in 2014.
