NCIS: Los Angeles recently ended after running since 2009, airing a two-part finale featuring a wedding, the return of some familiar faces and a setup for further adventures featuring fan-favourite Hetty.

Showrunner R Scott Gemmill revealed that there wasn't much time between the cast and crew finding out the show was ending and the finale coming together.

It also didn't take for it to be announced that LL Cool J was sticking with the franchise. He'll join NCIS: Hawai'i in season 3.
