NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama and his fiancée Amanda Pacheco have got an exciting time ahead of them, as the couple are expecting their first child together. Congratulations, both!

The couple, who reportedly got engaged in January of this year, shared their happy news on Instagram, with Wilmer posting a series of photographs of the mom and dad-to-be that revealed Amanda's baby bump.

Alongside the moody shots, the NCIS actor – who plays Special Agent Nick Torres in the long-running series – wrote: "It's just us 3 now."

Wilmer, who you might also recognise from That '70s Show and even Grey's Anatomy, won't have all the time in the world to prepare for fatherhood, as NCIS is officially back on screens after the COVID-19 pandemic halted production.

All three NCIS shows returned last month, with NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and NCIS: New Orleans all taking a different approach in relation to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

NCIS chose to ignore it entirely by jumping back in time, with its November premiere taking place in the autumn of 2019. Well, that's one way to do it.

"We had an episode last year called 'Musical Chairs', where [Mark Harmon's] Gibbs disappears from the squad room to go on a mission, and then he shows up at the end of the episode with a black eye," the series' co-showrunner Steven Binder explained ahead of season 18's comeback.

"We are going to pick up Season 18 with that mission that Gibbs was on, back in time."

NCIS airs on CBS in the US, and on FOX UK in the UK.
