2 killed in fiery crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County

Two people were killed in a fiery crash in Montgomery County on Saturday.

NBC affiliate WCAU reports a tanker truck crashed and went up in flames on Saturday morning between Mid-county Exit 20 and Lansdale Exit 31.

All lanes were closed for most of the day Saturday because of fire damage and fuel spills, but have since reopened.

Nearby residents were evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

The identity of the two victims has not been released.
