A nearly $3 million house tops the list of the 10 priciest houses sold in Clarke Co. in 2023

From Five Points charmers to a house on more than 15 acres, high-end real estate sold in Clarke County in 2023 has some amazing properties.

Luxury homes in Clarke County, homes that sold for at least $600,000 or more, have seen an increase in inventory since January, according to Jennifer Varnadoe at Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty in Athens. As of late December, the average sale price in 2023 for a luxury home lands at $1.69 million, up 85% since January, according to a market analysis report.

The most expensive home sold in 2023 is located in Five Points and closed in December for $2.95 million, nearly double the price of the second-most expensive house on the list.

535 Milledge Circle, Athens, Ga. 30606

Price: $2.95 million (Sold in December) Specs: 7,013 sq. ft. 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms

A two-story home in Five Points features two fireplaces, vaulted high ceilings with ceiling fans and a screened porch. The previous owners maintained and updated the home, as a new addition is a carriage home with vaulted ceilings, a kitchenette and bathroom.
