We Nearly Missed This Sweet Exchange Between Princess Charlotte & Uncle Prince Harry at the Queen’s Funeral

Just because Prince Harry stepped down as a senior royal and moved to California doesn’t mean he’s lost his special bond with his niece, Princess Charlotte.

Yesterday, the British royal family reunited to celebrate the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II. Following the emotional funeral at Westminster Abbey, the group headed to Windsor Castle for a committal service at St. George’s Chapel. During the ceremony, Prince Harry shared a sweet moment with Princess Charlotte that almost went unnoticed. (Key word: almost.)

Per Hello! magazine, Prince Harry kept looking at his niece during the church service. At one point, Princess Charlotte adjusted her hat and then glanced at her uncle, and Prince Harry responded with a sweet smile. While Char nervously looked away, the exchange didn’t go unnoticed. Princess Charlotte was seated on Prince Harry’s left side, while Meghan Markle was situated on his right. The young princess was also sitting next to her mom, Kate Middleton, followed by Prince George and Prince William.

Princess Charlotte and her brother, Prince George, were two of the few children who attended Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. Still, they were extremely well behaved during the day’s events. (If Prince Louis hadn’t stayed home, it probably would have been an entirely different story.)
