According to Baerbock, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s proposals directly contradict the premises of peace.

“His proposal went something like this: “We will rob your country, enslave your citizens, and then you can sign peace,”” she said.

“This is the opposite of peace. This is terror and lack of freedom”.

Baerbock said that since Feb. 24, various countries and international organizations have been asking Putin to stop his full-scale invasion.

“The only response from the Russian president has been fresh atrocities,” she said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine is ready to negotiate with Russia, but not with Putin, nothing that Ukraine has always offered Russia the chance to agree to coexistence on equal, honest, and fair terms.

“Obviously, with this Russian president, this is impossible,” Zelenskyy said.

“He doesn’t know what honor and dignity are. We are ready for a dialogue with Russia, but with another Russian president.”
