Neighbours' Hendrix hints at stronger feelings for Mackenzie after near-kiss

Neighbours sees Hendrix Greyson appearing to hint at stronger feelings for his friend Mackenzie Hargreaves on UK screens next week.
The two friends have become really close friends – but the dynamic between them threatens to change after they team up to take care of a spider at the Kennedy house and end up nearly kissing.
In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, both Hendrix (Benny Turland) and Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) worry about the moment that they shared.

Although they didn't kiss, they're separately concerned their friendship may be ruined.
Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) complicates matters by overstepping when he tries to help Mackenzie and ends up jumping to the wrong conclusion.
Mackenzie and Hendrix eventually have the conversation they need to clear the air, both confirming that they want to remain friends. But things don't quite return to normal for the pair.
Later in the week, Mackenzie and Hendrix agree to hang out, but Mackenzie ends up cancelling their plans when Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) is upset with her grandfather Paul.
Hendrix accepts the rain check but realises how much he misses being around Mackenzie, which hints at stronger feelings for his friend.
He then tries to prove he's not interested in being more than friends with Mackenzie, but it only results in an awkward clash between them.
When Hendrix arrives to help Mackenzie move Toadie's office, he makes a call to Jay Rebecchi. Jay and Mackenzie shared a connection and confessed their feelings for each other, just before Jay moved back to Sydney.
Hendrix mentions to Mackenzie that Jay has a new girlfriend. An upset Mackenzie lashes out at Hendrix before running off.
Neighbours airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, May 10 on Channel 5.
