Neighbours' Rebekah Elmaloglou has paid tribute to her father Gregory, who sadly passed away last week.

Elmaloglou, who plays Terese Willis, posted an Instagram reel yesterday (February 5) featuring photos of Gregory's career as a cellist and family selfies.

She captioned the post: "My beautiful sweet talented father passed away peacefully on Friday night at 10.20pm surrounded by all his loved ones. Two weeks short of his 90th birthday.

"A world-renowned cellist, he was co-principal cellist for The Sydney Symphony Orchestra for 45 years."
