Neighbours star Stefan Dennis teases possible future for Paul and Terese

Neighbours star Stefan Dennis has teased a possible future for his character's relationship with Terese Willis, after Paul Robinson jilted her at the altar before the show's reboot.
Before the long-running Australian soap returned to screens via Amazon Freevee earlier this year after airing its "last ever episode" in July, Terese and Paul were set to tie the knot.
The soft reboot gave viewers a shock when it opened with Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) about to marry Toadie Rebbechi (Ryan Moloney), two years later - and has been drip-feeding audiences information about what happened during the time jump ever since.
Dennis has further expanded on a possible future between Paul and Terese in a video posted to the official Neighbours X (Twitter) account, under the caption: "What's next for Paul? Is there a way back for him and Terese? Hear first-hand from Stefan himself with his Ramsay Street Revelations..."

In the video, Dennis revealed that he was "ultimately surprised" by the twist, because he, "just assumed that Paul and Terese were together forever".
Continuing, he hinted that that could still be the case.
"Never say never, okay. He will chew on a bone until nothing is left," Dennis said. "As will be revealed, he's been up to no good. Something quite devastating happened to him, which put him on a collision course with oblivion."

Stefan previously exclusively teased Digital Spy on why Paul humiliated Terese, saying: "I can't tell you why, because it involves an incredibly big storyline which is coming up, and we can't unfold that at all.
"It's nothing like what you think. The one thing that we can tell you is that even though it looks like Paul was being his typical ruthless self, and a selfish person by shunning Terese at the altar, he actually did it for Terese and she doesn't know that. She doesn't realise that Paul, in his own way, he was protecting her. That was why he jilted her at the altar."
Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4.30pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
