Neil E. Timbers, 67, charged with Nov. 24 armed robbery south of Newcomerstown

NEW PHILADELPHIA — The Tuscarawas County Grand Jury has indicted a 67-year-old man from Lore City on a charge of aggravated robbery.

Neil E. Timbers allegedly robbed a woman Nov. 24 at Sally's Hilltop Store, 1958 Post Boy Road, in Washington Township south of Newcomerstown.

A firearm specification attached to the charge alleges a gun was used in the crime. The specification imposes a mandatory three-year prison term for criminal offenses committed using a firearm.
