NEO Softball Bounces Back Against Crowder with Double Header Sweep

MIAMI, OK – After back to back losses last Wednesday, NEO softball bounced back in front of its home crowd with a double header sweep on Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Norse got out in front early courtesy of a two-run homer from Destiny Tune, but Crowder would nod up the game via an RBI base hit from Brooke Beyer.

NEO’s Corissa Bandel would keep the score tight with a strong performance on the mound. With the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Madison Pratt would send a solo shot to left field, and NEO would close out the game with a 3-2 final score.

The Lady Norse would also take game two by a score of 2-1. Up next, the Lady Norse will participate in the Drury Tournament on Friday, March 1st and face Moberly Area Community College. Crowder will take on Eastern Oklahoma State College in a double header on Thursday, February 29th at 1 and 3 p.m.
