Calallen grad Tyler Neslony continues to swing a hot bat for the Double-A Birmingham Barons.

Neslony hit .341 during the month of June for the Barons, which included 30 hits in 21 games, nine doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI and scored 16 runs. Overall this season, Neslony is hitting .323 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI in 63 games.

• Carroll grad Michael Berglund has certainly done some traveling in his second full season in the minor leagues. Berglund, a catcher in the Rays organization, began the season in Charleston, S.C., then spent a few games with the Double-A Montgomery Biscuits and has settled into playing for the Bowling Green Hot Rods in Kentucky. Berglund is hitting .252 this season with two home runs and 11 RBI in 37 total games.
