The site will expand instant noodles production in Ukraine, creating 1,500 new jobs.

The production chain in Volyn Oblast, along with a factory in Torchin, will serve as a European regional hub for Nestlé’s culinary products category.

“The new facilities will boast the latest production technologies and will allow us to meet the high domestic demand for food products, including instant noodles and seasonings,” said Alessandro Zanelli, CEO at Nestlé South Eastern Europe.

About 300 people will work at the new facility from the outset.

“Ukraine will remain the only European center for the production of Nestlé’s instant noodles, and the production hub in Volyn (Oblast) will undoubtedly play a huge role in exporting this rapidly growing segment to European countries,” Zanelli added.

Earlier, Zanelli stated that Nestlé also planned to reboot its factory in Kharkiv in 2023.
