Net-A-Porter has launched a shoppable section dedicated to sustainable beauty and skincare products today called Net Sustain.
The luxury retailer set up the section in June last year, which has today expanded to include 27 beauty brands who fit Net Sustains specific pillars.
These include being locally made, craft and community, considered materials, considered processes, considered ingredients, reducing waste, animal welfare and vegan products.
The site reads: “Our vegan brands are 100% committed to avoiding the use of any animal products or using ingredients that are derived from animals. Upgrade your wellness ritual with plant-based supplements by BEAR or Form Nutrition.
“Alternatively, indulge in our luxe edit of holistic skincare including Aesop’s divine Macadamia oil-infused rejuvenating balm.”
The chairman and CEO of YOOX’s Net-A-Porter Group, Federico Marchetti, tweeted: “Starting 2020 as we mean to go on: leading and promoting #sustainable fashion. With new launches today, the #NETSUSTAIN platform hits 100 brands, for the first time including beauty too. Well done to the @NETAPORTER team for continuing to push this important agenda!”
Net Sustain’s products include fan favourites such as Tata Harper, Aesop, Pai Skincare as well as Dr. Barbara Strum.
Plus, there is a new brand that has been added to the mix: Cosmydor.
Whether you are looking for cruelty-free bath oils, ethically sourced shampoo, vegan face serums, make-up, or make-up removers, Net Sustain is our new go-to shopping destination.
With prices starting as low as £15, there is bound to be something to suit every shopper’s needs and budgets.
