Netflix Celebrates AAPI Heritage Month With Daniel Dae Kim, Lana Condor and More

Netflix has kicked off a campaign to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) creators and talents for AAPI Heritage Month.

About the campaign: Netflix is launching a Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Stories collection, which contains series, films and specials featuring talents from the AAPI community, Lisa Nishimura, VP of Documentary and Independent Films, said.




  • In addition to the collection, Netflix released a one-minute video featuring artists from the AAPI community, including Daniel Dae Kim, Ashley Park, Ramona Young, Lana Condor, Justin H. Min, Ronny Chieng, Tan France, Jimmy O. Yang, Leah Lewis, Jessie Mei Li, Jo Koy and Punam Patel.

  • Billboards across the country will feature Condor, France, Koy, Cho, Osaka and Jeong with their personalized quotes, such as, "Showing just one of us isn't diversity."


Upcoming Netflix event: Netflix will be sponsoring the national AAPI Day Against Bullying and Hate on May 18.
