Netflix drops trailer for S. Korean Gen Z reality series ‘Nineteen to Twenty’

Netflix released the official trailer for its new South Korean reality series “Nineteen to Twenty” on Monday.
About “Nineteen to Twenty”: The show will follow a group of Gen Z youth as they spend their last week as teenagers at “19 School” learning “adulting” skills before moving into the “20 House.”
The five men and five women shown in the trailer are prohibited from dating during their time as students, but they are free to pursue romantic relationships after moving into their new home.
Crew and production:The series is created and produced by “Singles Inferno” creator Kim Jae-won. Like “Singles Inferno,” the new show will include a slew of stars as emcees, including Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, actor Kim Ji-eun, AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun and Starship Entertainment singer-songwriter Jeong Sewoon.

Netflix’s upcoming Korean content: “Nineteen to Twenty” was announced in February as part of the streaming giant’s roster of Korean reality series for 2023.
More recently, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos revealed that a “staggering 60 percent of our members have now watched one Korean title — with viewing of K-content up sixfold globally in the last four years.”
Other details: “Nineteen to Twenty” will consist of 10 episodes and is set to premiere on July 11.
