Netflix teases revenge K-drama ‘The Glory,’ starring Song Hye-kyo

Netflix released an announcement trailer for a mysterious new K-drama series titled “The Glory.”

The series will star Song Hye-kyo, who is best known for her lead roles in K-dramas like “Full House,” “That Winter, the Wind Blows” and 2016’s “Descendants of the Sun.” Song plays Moon Dong-eun, a woman looking to enact revenge against her childhood bullies.

Lee Do-hyun, who is best known for his roles in “Hotel Del Luna” and Netflix’s “Sweet Home,” joins the cast as an enigmatic character named Ju Yeo-jung. Actor Lim Ji-yeon, who plays Seoul in Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area Part 2,” will play Dong-eun’s bully, Park Yeon-jin.

Song will reunite with “Descendants of the Sun” screenwriter Kim Eun-sook for the project. Kim has penned all eight episodes of “The Glory.” Her other writing credits include “Goblin” and “Mr. Sunshine.”

“The Glory” premieres on Dec. 30 exclusively on Netflix.
