Netherlands seeks to purchase Leopard-1 tanks for Ukraine, pending Swiss approval
According to NOS’s sources in The Hague, the tanks could be supplied by a Swiss company, but no agreement has been reached yet. The cost of these tanks also remains unknown.

However, 14 of the more modern Leopard 2-A4 tanks, made in Germany, cost Ukraine's allies roughly $176 million.

Switzerland's approval is necessary for this purchase as the country is bound by its strick neutrality laws.

Previous reports indicated the Swiss government supported decommissioning 25 advanced Leopard-2 tanks for sale to Germany. This move could potentially enable Berlin to provide more military aid to Ukraine.
