The Brooklyn Nets (39-34, seventh in the Eastern Conference visit Miami-Dade Arena on Saturday to face the Miami Heat for the third and final time this season. Brooklyn leads the regular-season series 2-0.

In the first game, a Nets 102-101 win on Jan. 8, it was competitive throughout the entire contest. Kyrie Irving scored 29 points to lead Brooklyn in scoring and Royce O’Neale was the hero as he made the game-winning putback to seal the win for his Nets. Kevin Durant left the game in the third quarter with a sprained right MCL.

In the second game, a Brooklyn 116-105 win on Feb. 15, Mikal Bridges scored a career-high 45 points to lead the Nets in scoring. Brooklyn broke the game open in the fourth quarter thanks to Bridges scoring 15 points in a row at one point in the period. Bam Adebayo scored 24 points to lead the Heat in scoring.

Brooklyn comes into this matchup with the longest losing streak of the season for them at five games. The Nets suffered a heartbreaking 116-114 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday. Brooklyn had a 10-point lead with a little over six minutes left in the game only for them to turn the ball over three times in the last 80 seconds to open the door for Issac Okoro to make the corner three at the end to steal the win for his Cavs.

Miami comes into this game have won four of its last five games, including impressive wins over the New York Knicks and the Memphis Grizzlies. Jimmy Butler has been on a scoring binge lately so he’ll most likely be in his peak form this time around.
