Nevada Republican Caucus is at 5 p.m. Here’s how to find where to go

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Nevada Republican Caucus is scheduled to begin a 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. State leaders remind voters the caucus is where delegates will be awarded to candidates seeking the presidential nomination.

The caucus is expected to wrap up at about 7:30 p.m. and results will be released by the Nevada Republican Party sometime after that.

Republicans can find their precinct polling place by checking online at https://nevadacaucus.gop/. There is also a list online of polling places for each precinct.

Former President Donald Trump and Ryan Binkley are the only candidates who will appear on the ballot.

You must be a registered Republican to participate, and government-issued ID is required in order to verify your identity. Voting takes place on paper ballots with tabulation all caucus-goers can observe, according to information posted on the state party’s website.

“The Nevada GOP Caucus is the only place where Presidential candidates can earn delegates to the Republican National Convention and become the GOP nominee to take on Joe Biden next November –  make sure you come to the caucus and vote for your favorite candidate!” a statement on the party’s website said.
