If you're one of the people holding tickets for the sold-out B-52s concert at The Classic Center next month, that doesn't necessarily mean you'll be seeing their final performance. You'll just have to make a trip to the Southwest to do so.

The band this week announced their 2023 Las Vegas residency via social media.

"Friends and fans of Planet Earth: Announcing our LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY at the beautiful Venetian Theatre," read the post. "While it is true our touring days are ending soon in Georgia, we invite you to join us in the entertainment capital of the universe … Vegas!! Let’s do this!"

Tickets for the 10-date residency at the Venetian Resort will go on sale Dec. 3 for shows running from May 5 through Sept. 3. Promotional ads referred to the performances as "The Love Shack Residency" in reference to The B-52s' 1989 hit single and included archive video of the band along with new clips of founding members Cindy Wilson, Fred Schneider and Kate Pierson standing in front of giant red letters that spelled out "love."

"Well never say never! Here we go again!" said Pierson via her official Facebook page in a repost of the announcement, which came just weeks after the date of the band's farewell show in Athens was rescheduled for Jan. 10 due to Pierson coming down with strep throat early last month.
