November's set to be quite a busy time on the streaming front for platforms like Netflix, Disney+, Crave, Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and more.
The popular Netflix hit The Crown is coming to an end after the release of Season 6, in two parts.
There's also the return of the nostalgic Good Burger story with the new movie Good Burger 2 on Paramount+.
November also marks the introduction of holiday content, including a new Christmas movie on Prime video with Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.
What to watch on Netflix: New TV shows and movies
The Crown Season 6, Part 1 (Nov. 16)
Season 6 of the The Crown, the final season of series, will be released in two parts. The first part will premiere on Nov. 16, with the second part being released on Netflix Dec. 14.
This is the most highly anticipated seasons yet, largely due to the fact that it will include the moment Princess Diana, played by Elizabeth Debicki, was in the fatal car crash in France. Season 6 is also set to introduce adult Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Rustin (Nov. 17)
After making its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this year, George C. Wolfe's Rustin, starring Colman Domingo, arrives on Netflix Nov. 17.
The film is centred around activist Bayard Rustin, a key organizer in the 1963 March on Washington, notably where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.

What to watch on Prime Video: New movies
BTS: Yet to Come (Nov. 9)
We're very much in the concert film era and next up is famed South Korean group BTS, with their film landing on Prime Video Nov. 9.
The movie was filmed at the Asiad Main Stadium in Busan, South Korea in Oct. 2022, to a 50,000 person crowd.
EXmas (Nov. 17)
With Halloween over, it's time to start thinking about December holidays, including a new Christmas movie coming to Prime Video Nov. 17, with Gossip Girls star Leighton Meester and Canadian actor Robbie Amell.
In EXmas, Graham (Amell) is surprising his family by travelling home for Christmas, but when he arrives he discovers his family is celebrating the holiday with his ex-fiancée Ali (Meester).

What to watch on Disney+: New TV shows and movies
Quiz Lady (Nov. 3)
Awkwafina and Sandra Oh play sisters in the upcoming comedy Quiz Lady, directed by Jessica Yu.
When they find out their mother owes $80,000 of gambling debt to a bookie, resulting in Annie's (Awkwafina) dog being kidnapped, the sisters try to win the money on a TV trivia game show called "Can't Stop The Quiz."
A Murder at the End of the World (Nov. 14)
A mystery series on Disney+ starring Emma Corrin, A Murder at the End of the World follows amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker Darby Hart.
Darby is invited by a billionaire, with eight other guests, to participate in a retreat. When one guest is found dead, Darby has to use her sleuthing skills to make sure everyone else stays alive.

What to watch on Crave: New TV shows
Canada's Drag Race Season 4 (Nov. 16)
Canada's Drag Race Season 4 is back in November with 11 new Canadian Queens in the competition, premiering Nov. 16.
This season also includes the oldest competitor in Drag Race history, 57-year-old Kitten Kaboodle from Toronto.
Brooke Lynn Hytes, Brad Goreski and Traci Melchor return as judges. Special guests will include Jaida Essence Hall, Luann de Lesseps, Nelly Furtado, Ra’Jah O’Hara, Rêve, Winnie Harlow, Christian Allaire, Sarain Fox, and Tegan and Sara.
Julia (Nov. 16)
The series Julia, inspired by the life of Julia Child and her television show The French Chef, returns for Season 2 Nov. 16.
Sarah Lancashire as the title character travels to the French Riviera and Paris in this second season, as she navigates this new fame with husband Paul (David Hyde Pierce).

What to watch on Apple TV+: New TV shows and movies
The Buccaneers (Nov. 8)
Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton’s unfinished novel is getting a series treatment on Apple TV+ with The Buccaneers, premiering Nov. 8.
Starring Kristine Frøseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse, Mia Threapleton and Christina Hendricks, the show brings a group of American girls to the U.K. in the 1870s, under the pressure of finding a husband and hopefully a notable title.
Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas (Nov. 22)
Ted Lasso may be over but you can get a little Hannah Waddingham fix on Apple TV+ on Nov. 22 with her Home for Christmas musical event from the London Coliseum.

What to watch on Paramount+: New TV shows and movies
The Curse (Nov. 10)
Co-created and executive produced by Benny Safdie and Canadian Nathan Fielder, also starring Emma Stone, The Curse follows a married couple who are filming a house flipping reality show, and trying to have a baby. But when they're cursed, things just start to go wrong.
Good Burger 2 (Nov. 22)
Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell are back together as Dex and Ed for Good Burger 2, premiering Nov. 22.
A highly-anticipated sequel to the 1997 hit, the new movie sees Ed welcome Dex back to his old job at Good Burger, just as there seems to be plans by Mega Corp to expand the burger shop internationally with "Mega Good Burgers," and replace employees with robots.

What to watch on Hayu: New TV shows
The Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 (Nov. 1)
The Miami Housewives always bring the heat and that seems to continue to be the case in Season 6 of the show.
The trailer for the season teases a lot of "Miami flexing" with money and luxuries for the Housewives families, but also possible financial issues with Alexia Nepola.
Fans of the franchise are also set to see Guerdy Abraira's breast cancer diagnosis on the season.
The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 (Nov. 5)
For its eight season, The Real Housewives of Potomac looks spicer than ever, with the trailer teasing marriage troubles for Mia Thornton, Wendy Osefo and maybe even Robyn Dixon (again), all coming after Ashley Darby's separation from her husband.
There's also a new housewife in the mix, Nneka Ihim. A lawyer who is newly married to a doctor.

What to watch on Mubi: New movies
Yuki's Sun (Nov. 1)
From Spirited Away and The Boy and the Heron filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki, his 1972 short film Yuki's Son will be available to stream on Mubi, beginning in November.
The film, released 13 years before the famed animator co-founded Studio Ghibli, is a pilot for a TV series that was never made.
Bulletproof (Nov. 1)
A 2020 documentary from Todd Chandler, Bulletproof, takes the audience inside a U.S. high school's implementation of measures to stop an active shooter on campus.
