Another day, another woman trolled for posting a brelfie. This time it’s the turn of actress Jaime Winstone. The new mum has been forced to hit back against shamers who attacked her for sharing a picture of her breastfeeding her newborn to her Instagram.

Smiling happily as she nursed her little one she captioned the make-up free shot “Morning #mamalife”

The snap was the first time the Made In Dagenham star had seemingly confirmed the birth of her baby with partner James Suckling, although fans had been speculating about the little one’s arrival since she shared a distorted picture of a baby with the caption “CherubDreamin” earlier this year.

While majority of comments were hugely supportive of the snap, the new mum was also on the receiving end of a couple of unkind comments from internet trolls attacking the new mum for sharing the image.

But Jaime wasn’t willing to let a few shamers burst her motherhood bubble and took to her page to hit back.

“To you above.. Stay off my Instagram with your nasty vibes, not welcome here,” she wrote.

And Jaime’s fans were also quick to defend the star’s right to share the snap.

“WOW! Go Jaime! I’m a fellow breastfeeder and it’s great to see you sharing the breastfeeding awesomeness! Empowering women to breastfeed! #normalisebreastfeeding #mamapower,” one woman wrote.

“The most natural thing in the world between a mumma and her baby……beautiful. Massive respect to u for posting this @jaimewinstone u look amazing,” added another

“Well done Jamie, Insta needs more images like this!Life at its most precious,” one supporter wrote.

Though Jaime hasn’t officially announced the birth of her baby, fans have been speculating that she’d had a son earlier this year after fashion designer Pam Hogg wrote on an Instagram post:

“It’s a boy!!!… Congratulations my beautiful friends!!! XXXX @jaimewinstone @james_suckling.”

The actress announced that she was expecting a baby back in September, telling Lorraine that she had never been happier since she’d found out she was going to be a mum.

“I feel great. It’s a nice stage in my life. I’m 30 and was starting to think about taking my career in a bit more of a serious direction but weirdly it planned out to be exactly what I wanted. It’s great,” she told the presenter.

It’s not the first time a celebrity has been targeted by trolls after sharing a brelfie. Earlier this month Sam Faiers shared a picture of her feeding her son, Paul on a sunlounger and while many praised the reality star for ‘normalising breastfeeding’ others were scathing about the new mum publicly sharing what they believe should be a private moment between mother and baby. And Tamara Eccleston has often been criticised for openly sharing pictures of her breastfeeding daughter, Sophia.

The 30-year-old daughter of Formula One boss Bernie was forced to defend her decision to share snaps of her nursing to her Instagram.

“I was on holiday at the time with my husband and [daughter] Sophia and I shared so many pictures of Sophia - I’m completely obsessed with my daughter, sorry everyone all I do is post pictures of her - and my husband took the picture and I loved it. I thought it was so cute and I didn’t realise that it was going to cause so much controversy,” she said.
