Newark Airport Terminal Evacuated After Security Breach

Terminal B at Newark airport was evacuated on Thursday night, September 22, due to a security breach, local media reported.

The Port Authority via local media said a person waiting in a TSA line went through a security door, prompting the terminal to be cleared while a K-9 unit swept the area and located the person.

Long lines formed as travelers needed to be rescreened before reentering the terminal about an hour later, local media reported.
