Newark Streets Heavily Flooded Following Thunderstorms

Newark residents were forced to wade through extensive flooding in the city on Saturday, July 17, as severe thunderstorms passed through parts of New Jersey and the New York City area.

On Saturday, the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning that included Newark. Other parts of the state also fell under tornado warnings.
